"...in
order to change tissue within a typical one hour massage,
a therapist needs to warm tissue quickly, usually with
the healing of friction of repetitive touch. Changes in
tissue are much easier when temperature can be applied
to various places on the body at once. Thermalballs act
as an extension of the therapist's anatomy enabling a revolutionary
massage with bonus therapy for the practitioner (better
quality and ergonomically easier on the anatomy of the
professional). Thermalballs feel like your skin, supple,
but can traverse bony prominences without interruption
in acupressure or temperature.
Thermalballs stimulates the body's vascular and lymphatic systems
to flush toxins, dead cell matter and bacteria. Contrast thermal
therapy replenishes the affected area with fresh oxygenated
blood and nutrients.
Cold thermalballs constrict blood vessels and encourage the
lymphatic system to clear fluids and damaged tissue by-products.
Swelling is reduced and an analgesic effect is produced relieving
the pain associated with strains, sprains and bruises.
Pain relief from backaches, Arthritis, Sciatica nerve pain,
Heel Spurs pain, Plantar Fasciitis pain along with general
muscle massage and hot cold pack therapy, can be achieved with
Thermalball therapy. By increasing (or decreasing)
the temperature in selected areas of the body, thermal therapy
enhances blood
circulation and helps muscles to relax, reducing stiffness
and increasing mobility...."
"...thermalball
products just work better!
Thermaball delivers
deep heat or icy cold to all areas of the body due to the
suppleness of the ball, penetrating ruggedness
and "tacky" exterior. It allows you to get into
contours that you normally can't affect with compression
and decompression - plain and simple...."
In my years of practice I have been tempted by tools that
could help me, or make it easier on my body or better
for the client. Most all of the tools I have tried do not have
longevity. Either the client gets bored or the device doesn't
meet expectation.
There are only three tools that really fit into my practice
and Thermaball is one that I am so happy to have...
I have found Thermaballs natural to use, require little
learning curve and fit into the routine perfectly. Eventually
every good massage therapist will want them as part of their
arsenal...

Chiropractor subluxations maintenance therapy
a
subluxation (a.k.a. Vertebral Subluxation) is when one
or more of the bones of your spine (vertebrae) move out
of
position and create pressure on, or irritate spinal nerves.
Spinal nerves are the nerves that come out from between each
of the bones in your spine. This pressure or irritation on
the nerves then causes those nerves to malfunction and interfere
with the signals traveling over those nerves. Thermalball
and icyball® therapy
help to reduce inflammation so that the irritated nerve receeds
and the pain disapears! Maintenance
therapy with cold icyballs in a fabric sack can assist
minor spinal adjustments.
